We didn’t ask Cinderella, the prince or the step-sisters for help but went straight to the fairy godmother. We put some blank pages in front of her and asked her to magic some of the best lessons ever produced for schools with the eight evidence-based learning skills proven by research to maximise learning included in them. She didn’t let us down – a puff of smoke and it was all over. As a result we are able to make these EBL lessons (magically) available to you.

These eight EBL skills, which can be easily acquired by every girl called Cinderella, prince or step-sister regardless of ability, have been proven to lead to the highest level of learning because they combine the most effective thinking skills with the most productive learning skills. If not, the fairy godmother will soon sort you out. Although you just might have to bring your own pumpkin.

At the end of every lesson, there is a five-minute evidence-based CPD activity for teachers that was left behind by Cinderella when she ran from the ball as the clock struck midnight.
