These lessons with the eight evidence-based learning skills proven by research to maximise learning were abandoned by pirates on a deserted island after the treasure had been dug up. What the pirates didn’t know was that these lessons are worth far more than gold!

These eight EBL skills, which can be easily acquired by every pirate (good or bad) regardless of ability, have been proven to lead to the highest level of learning because they combine the most effective thinking skills with the most productive learning skills.

At the end of every lesson, there is a five-minute evidence-based CPD activity for teachers which we were able to locate after carefully following the directions on a treasure map.
