The Steadfast Tin Soldier let us into a secret – he believes that the lessons with the eight evidence-based learning skills proven by research to maximise learning were made out of spoons. After all, he was and so were all the other tin soldiers.

These eight EBL skills, which can be easily acquired by every tin soldier or dancer regardless of ability, have been proven to lead to the highest level of learning because they combine the most effective thinking skills with the most productive learning skills.

At the end of every lesson, there is a five-minute evidence-based CPD activity for teachers which the tin soldier claims to have found in the toy box.
