The hare looked at the lessons with the eight evidence-based learning skills proven by research to maximise learning and said that he could finish them before the tortoise. The tortoise said ‘why don’t they have a race?’ The rest they say is history.

These eight EBL skills, which can be easily acquired by every hare and tortoise regardless of ability, have been proven to lead to the highest level of learning because they combine the most effective thinking skills with the most productive learning skills.

At the end of every lesson, there is a five-minute evidence-based CPD activity for teachers which the boy who cried wolf said was the best that he had ever seen.
