We have been through wardrobes, down rabbit holes and touched port-keys to visit many strange and exotic fantasy lands so that you don’t have to. We asked Alice in Wonderland, Harry Potter and even the White Rabbit to help us identify the best evidence-based learning skills. Together we identified eight skills that have been proven by research to maximise learning (but we didn’t include those suggested by the Mad Hatter!).

These eight EBL skills can be easily acquired by every Alice and Harry regardless of ability and have been proven to lead to the highest level of learning because they combine the most productive thinking skills with the most effective learning behaviours. At least that’s what the Mad Hatter told us!

At the end of every lesson there is a five-minute evidence-based CPD activity for teachers that we brought back from our trip to Wonderland.
